Samples sequenced
Over 1400 samples from patients have had whole genome sequencing so far, with 250 patients worth of sequencing incoming.
This is usually carried out on both normal and tumour samples, in order to better establish the mutational profile of that patients tumour genome by comparison to the normal.
More than 300 samples have had RNA sequencing so far.
Collating an in depth RNA expression profile for Oesophageal Adenocarcinoma (OAC).
The group is always looking into expanding its sequencing capabilities into exciting new technologies, check back for more information at a later stage.
It is also worth noting that almost all sequencing data has accompanying clinical information, allowing any data generated to be directly related to clinical diagnosis and outcomes.
