Data generated from OCCAMS samples using a variety of genomic, transcriptomic, and methylomic sequencing techniques are processed and managed by the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute (CI).
Production pipelines running on the CI's high-performance computing cluster perform a range of analyses including read alignment, single nucleotide and structural variant calling, mutational signature analysis, copy number profiling, and expression quantification.
Further computational and statistical techniques are employed to stratify Barrett's oesophagus and oesophageal adenocarcinoma and to research the biological processes and risk factors involved in their development and progression.
Sequencing reads and methylation array data are deposited at the European Genome-phenome Archive (EGA); these data are made available to members of the wider research community through controlled access protocols.
